Italian Sausage,Peppers and Onions
Today was a pretty typical Tuesday. As so often happens I get to the end of the day with no thought about dinner. Normally Tuesday is pasta night since I'm usually at home by myself for dinner. Tonight though Sara was also home since she had an exciting day of jury duty instead of her normal work. She was quite tired and just wanted to make herself something small. So for myself I cooked Italian sausage and peppers. I had cooked some Italian sausage a day or so ago and I took them out of the fridge and cut two into rounds. I sliced an onion and a red pepper and sauted them in olive oil. I added in some halved grape tomatos, garlic and salt and pepper. After this cooked for about 10 minutes I added in the sausage and heateded it all through. I put it in a shallow bowl and grated some parmesan on top. I added a few fresh sugar snap peas and a Mirror Pond beer from Deschutes Brewery. Quick, easy and tasty...
