Beautiful crisp day. Last minute Christmas shopping.

We don't take advantage of the beautiful area we live in often enough. That's certainly a goal of mine particularly starting this summer. I won't do all I plan but I'm going to try and get out and hike and do other stuff as often as I can.

Yesterday I took a quick drive up to Hurricane Ridge. It was just a bit foggy at the top but it was still beautiful. And the best part is I got to go snowshoeing...in June! I just took off over a snowy bank and up a hill. I didn't go far - just far enough to get away from most folks who could only dream of doing what I was doing.
