I'm Dope on the Floor

In general tread mill workouts are pretty dull.  I've found a sure fire way to make them more than tolerable - and an almost magic cure for depression.  I have a great Glee playlist about 50 minutes long.  It makes me smile while I run.  Hopefully I don't bust out into song too often...or the Taiwanese folks might have me committed.  Here's the list:

Don't Stop Believing
Anyway You Want It
Can't Fight This Feeling
Alone
Bust a Move
You Keep Me Hanging On
Sweet Caroline
Proud Mary
Jump
Bad Romance
Fire
Jessie's Girl
Run Joey Run
U Can't Touch This

There's nothing like good music to make the gym more tolerable! My ankle is still funky, so I haven't be able to run in a while and I'm starting to miss it :-(

you know its a good sign when you miss running! I know how you feel. Are you able to walk at all?

I have been walking (as that's my primary mode of transportation), but I've had to slow down because of the pain in my right ankle. I called mom last night to see what she thought I should do about it, so I've been icing it periodically and keeping it elevated. She thinks that this all may be due to the FiveFingers, which I'm super disappointed about because I really liked those shoes! Oh well.

well I hope its not the shoes because I know you liked them. Just give it some time...
