Training Log - 02/19/2010

I ran in my new running shoes for the first time today. I love them. It felt like running on air. It's amazing what a good pair of shoes will do. My legs were quite tired feeling because of the long layoff before the last run...but my new shoes kept them going. I really noticed a big difference when I stopped for the walk breaks. Usually my shins would ache and tighten and I'd really slow down for the walks. Today I noticed I could keep a good pace for the walk breaks which is good.

I'm working on a new goal and reward - stay tuned!
