I didn't want to run today. It had been two days since I exercised and a week since I had run. But somehow I managed to get on my clothes and get out the door. It started raining slightly just as I started...I forget how much I have always enjoyed running in the rain. I always remember running some when I would come home from college in the summer and always enjoying running during the 4pm downpour that happened every afternoon. Today it wasn't hot but the rain seemed to keep me from heating up too much. It wasn't an easy run but it wasn't too bad. I felt like I reached something of a steady state with my breathing and my legs were feeling mostly okay.
In repeats I ran further than I have so far. I did 2 10x3 repeats and then ran a third for 16 minutes - so I ran for a total of 36 minutes. Not continuous but still pretty good I think.
At least I made it out the door.
