Quinoa


I finally made a dish with the quinoa I bought several weeks ago. I found it on the 101 Cookbooks website. I must say that the quinoa alone isn't much. This dish is good because of what all is in it...potatoes, onions, garlic, asparagus, carrots, roasted pecans and parmesan cheese. I think the original recipe is a vegan recipe - I addded some butter while cooking and the cheese. The quinoa reminds me a lot of couscous although it seems to be a bit stickier.
