Saturdays

Since Lin usually works on most Saturdays I spend the day running errands. Mainly I do the food shopping at Costco and Central Market and sometimes other places. Lately I've also been doing some "weekly" cooking by making salsa verde and magic peppers and maybe a pot of something for the week. Today was no exception. I went to Central Market to buy mainly fresh fruits and vegetables and then to Costco to buy items we buy and store or freeze. And when I got home I got busy cooking. I made some Italian sausages and then a batch of onions and peppers to go with them. I made salsa verde and some tomato salsa. And lastly I made a batch of onions, peppers and mushrooms for Lin to take to her Art Party tomorrow...now I'm going to take a nap!
