Old Tools

Since I've started hand tool woodworking I've started really enjoying old tools. Lin bought me 2 of these old oil cans locally and I got the smallest one in Santa Barbara last week. I just love the look of them and really love using them in my shop.

Weekend Tool Projects

I made two new tools to use in my woodworking adventures - a try square and a straight edge.  Both are based on Jim Tolpin's designs in The New Traditional Woodworker.  Both were fun and easy to do.  Here are some pictures:

Mirror - Inspired by Gamble House Mirror
